Gore is too good for us
Tragically, Gore’s a bore — in the best/noblest sense of the word. He puts the interests of the nation above his own. He raises American politics from the gutter of greed and self-interest. He doesn’t tell people only what he thinks they want to hear. His messages can’t be crammed into sound-bites, but he would be ground up by 30-second ads attacking him.
